In the NHS Mr Hamilton has a wide practice, undertaking major complex surgery, often with other surgical specialties for reconstruction whether from trauma or cancer. This service takes him from head to toe whilst providing significant support in this work to the orthopaedic service for sarcoma work and prosthetic salvage, as well as trauma.
Mr Hamilton also provides routine hand surgery as well as complex post-trauma reconstruction as well as laser surgery for vascular lesions, pigmented lesions including tattoos, and skin resurfacing.
Advanced in the use of lasers and aesthetics, he facilities training in the NHS, and assists with the major head and neck surgery workload and the cleft service.
This background allows cross fertilisation and skill mix into his private practice which is primarily involves cosmetic surgery, although he also provide services across the broad spectrum of plastic surgery including burns reconstruction and breast reconstruction.
