WHAT’S INVOLVED?
- Health questionnaire and medical examination
- Height, weight, BMI, height:waist ratio
- Body composition
- Peak flow and oxygen sats
- Spirometry if abnormal Peak Flow
- Urinalysis
- Resting ECG if over 45, FH heart problems or if clinically indicated
- Bloods: full blood count, lipids including cholesterol, liver function, kidney function
- Blood glucose
- QRisk assessments for diabetes and heart disease
- Thyroid function
- External genitalia examination
- Testicular self-examination reviewed
- IPSS questionnaire (assess prostate function)
- PSA (Prostate Cancer Screening)
