Mr Ahmed’s orthopaedic path began with registrar training in Edinburgh. He then earned a British Orthopaedic Association fellowship focused on complex and revision joint replacement. His expertise was further strengthened with subspecialty fellowships—including work in Australia and leading joint-replacement centres in the UK—to master robotic surgery and knee ligament repair.  

He serves at the Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh, the Royal Hospital for Sick Children, and across the Spire Edinburgh Hospitals (Murrayfield & Shawfair Park) for private patients.
